My team and I supported the BGS Bürgerliste Großgemeinde Sierndorf with graphics and strategy in their 2019 election campaign. For an authentic look, we developed a visual language that supports the uniqueness of the BGS members which are ordinary people and not politicians by profession. Lorena supported me with the drawings.
The BGS is an ambitious group of residents of the Großgemeinde Sierndorf who wanted to put across their convictions to potential voters via a personal print and a Facebook campaign. The election goal was achieved and also not. On one hand, the BGS recorded the largest growth both, in percentage and in absolute figures and gained an additional mandate. On the other hand, the overarching goal of breaking the absolute majority of the ÖVP was not achieved.
The magazine ‘Der Bürgerlist’ler’ is published regularly by the BGS. I prepared the layout in Word in such a way that it can also be edited by the team itself independently. Occasionally, I add the necessary drawings.
