Behind the Scenes
The visual metaphor for QiTASC´s slogan ‘the magic of testing’ was adopted in the design of the product icons. Each product of the company is represented by an icon with a matching illustration that uses a metaphor explaining the function of the respective product. The challenge was to tell a story through a metaphor that would build a bridge across all products.
The metaphor is also reflected in the design of the interfaces. When working on interfaces, I work directly with the developers. The results can be summarized in a style guide which may be used for future products and can easily be expanded.
